will be held on 3-4 February 2010 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, at the Faculty of
Arts, University of Ljubljana, and will be co-located with the yearly
"Communication in Slovene" conference
(http://www.slovenscina.eu/Vsebine/En/Domov/Domov.aspx).

Word sketches are one-page automatic, corpus-based summaries of a word's
grammatical and collocational behaviour. Sketch Engine
(http://www.sketchengine.co.uk/) is a corpus tool which takes as input a
corpus of any language, together with a corresponding description of its
grammar patterns (= sketch grammar), and generates word sketches for the
words of that language. We invite the submission of abstracts for oral
presentations on sketch grammar development for different languages. The
abstracts should contain between 500 and 2,000 words and should be submitted
by e-mail to sketchgrammar at slovenscina.eu before 30 November 2009.  In the
accompanying message, please include:

*	the title of the talk
*	the names of all the authors
*	the contact author name
*	contact information (e-mail)

Notifications of acceptance will be sent before 15 December 2009. No
publication of the papers of the talks is foreseen. The presentations will
be 30 minutes long: 25 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for
discussion.
