[Corpora-List] Do we still need language corpora?

     I do want to point out that I got almost all the data for my 
dissertation from the Web: Frantext, Gallica and Google Books, plus a 
number of independent digitization projects.  I scanned exactly one book 
(the /Ordo Representacionis Ade/), and a year later that turned up on 
the web too; someone else had scanned and posted it!

     There's tons of great data on the web, but search engines are not 
good at finding representative samples.
