Siemens Corporate Research USA (SCR) invites applications for
internship positions in Natural Language Processing.

Successful candidates will contribute to research projects that
develop large scale systems employing NLP, Knowledge Representation
and Machine Learning technologies.
Duration of the internship is expected to be 4 months (summer) or longer.

Required:
- Strong research experience in NLP.
- Strong programming skills in Java
- Experience/Expertise in one or more of the following areas: semantic
role labeling, information extraction, question answering, semantic
search, social network analysis, sentiment analysis, computational
semantics, information retrieval, topic modeling.

Desirable:
- Experience in active learning, kernel methods, and graph algorithms
- Experience in symbolic knowledge representation, ontology development
- Experience with Amazon Mechanical Turk.
