Hi Yorick,

Within the framework of the sms4science project, we have been
working on SMS corpus collection.

This project has been underway since 2004.
You could take a look at the general website here: www.sms4science.org

We have already collected French, Italian, German and Creole corpora.
An English corpus is currently being collected in Canada.

or directly contact the local organizers:
