Look into OPUS, as it includes some PT_BR/EN corpora.

If you are happy with PT_PT, then there are a lot more to look at, from 
EuroParl, JRC-Acquis, DGT-TM, etc (look into 
http://per-fide.di.uminho.pt as well for some of those)
