Are you interested in joining an exciting European Project on quality
estimation for Machine Translation? Do you want to help advance the field
by paving the way for a significant breakthrough in quality translation
technology? Do you want to work in an innovative research environment?

At the Centre for Next Generation Localisation (CNGL) in Dublin, Ireland,
we have a number of post-doctoral positions as part of the FP7 QTLaunchPad
project. The QTLaunchPad project is a support action (CSA) focused on
collaborative research on high-quality MT with the ultimate goal of
launching an international action dedicated to significantly advancing
quality translation technology.

Within the context of this project, we are seeking a Research Fellow for MT
community building, outreach, public relations, and international MT
challenge and workshop organisation and task evaluation. Job duties also
include coordination assistance for MT roadmap development, outreach to
varied MT stakeholder and user communities, including industrial, national,
and funding organisations in Europe. The post requires an experienced MT
researcher with a keen interest in longer term vision and mobilisation of
the MT community, strong organisational skills, strong communication skills
and willingness to engage in media activities

Applicants for the position of Research Fellow must have a PhD in a
relevant discipline (Machine Translation, Natural Language Processing) and
a minimum of 4 years relevant postdoctoral research experience or
equivalent at Level 1 of the Research Career Framework. In addition
applicants must also have very strong communication and organisational
skills

Salary Scale:        €44,930 - €54,820  (Subject to experience and
qualifications)
