Are you interested in joining an exciting European Project on quality
estimation for Machine Translation? Do you want to help advance the field
by paving the way for a significant breakthrough in quality translation
technology? Do you want to work in an innovative research environment?

At the Centre for Next Generation Localisation (CNGL) in Dublin, Ireland,
we have a number of post-doctoral positions as part of the FP7 QTLaunchPad
project. The QTLaunchPad project is a support action (CSA) focused on
collaborative research on high-quality MT with the ultimate goal of
launching an international action dedicated to significantly advancing
quality translation technology.

Within the context of this project, this position is concerned with
carrying out research on extending and improving existing MT quality
estimation metrics and methods, infrastructure development and the
organisation of shared tasks concerning MT evaluation, resource
acquisition, and optimal MT system selection based on quality boundaries.

We are interested in hearing from Postdoctoral Researchers with strong
research interests and background in Machine Learning, Translation Quality
Prediction, Confidence Estimation and MT Evaluation (both automatic and
human evaluation). Strong programming and implementation skills required.
Applicants for the position of post-doctoral Researcher must have a PhD in
a relevant discipline (e.g. Machine Translation, MT Evaluation).

Salary Scale:        €37,750 - €40,003 (Subject to experience and
qualifications)
