[Corpora-List] K-something replacing TTR

Hi Cédric,
Yule's K is supposed to be an index of lexical "richness" or diversity which
does not present the notorious text size bias evident in TTR measurements
(Tweedie & Baayen 1998). I have created a perl script which calculates this
and some other stylometric indices. If you are interested send me an email.

Subject: [Corpora-List] K-something replacing TTR
Dear colleagues,
I've been told/advised/suggested to consider replacing the good old TTR with
another value. K-value? K-mean?
Apparently there's a software (maybe a concordancer) that gives you this
value.
Does anybody know more about this? And is there a way to calculate it
without a specific software?
Thanks in advance for keeping it short and simple,
Cedric
