Dear German Cognitive Linguistics Association,
On behalf of the CiLD 2026 Organising Committee, I am pleased to invite 
you to the international conference Construal in Language and Discourse 
(CiLD 2026), which will be held on 21–23 September 2026 at 
the University of Łódź, Poland.
The conference will focus on construal in linguistics, encompassing, 
though not limited to, cognitive linguistics, discourse studies, 
pragmatics, social interaction, narrative, storytelling, and 
literature. We would be very grateful if you could circulate this call 
for papers among interested colleagues, doctoral researchers, or 
relevant mailing lists. Further details can be found in the attached

Selected papers presented at the conference may be invited for 
submission to a peer-reviewed special issue of _Research in Language_
