Introduction

Dear Colleagues,

I'm Hailong Tian from the English Department of Tianjin University of
Commerce. I have just joined the DISCOURS list and will be happy to
share with you the comments and ideas concerning  linguistics. I am an
associate professor with special interests in discourse analysis and
pragmatics. I'm now investigsting how the use of Chinese "I" and "We"
are related with the personality of the speakers. If any of you have
