Hi all,
I would like to share this information with all of you
On September 2, 8, 14 and 16 from 11:00-11:30am PDT the instructors of the
Certificate in Web-Based Instruction (CWI) at Simon Fraser University will
have a Webcast information session. If you are interested in attending one
of the sessions please register at _http://www.sfu.ca/lidc/telestraining/_
The CWI Program is intended for teachers, instructors, and trainers. CWI is
offered entirely online and combines the teaching of both conceptual and
technical skills as participants learn to create their own online courses
for fully online or blended learning. The program uses a collaborative
approach to learning and covers pedagogical approaches for teaching online,
the use of online educational games, the evaluation of online students and
other related topics. At the end of the program participants have created
their own online module.
More information about the CWI can be found at the program web site:
_http://www.sfu.ca/lidc/telestraining/_ For additional questions, contact
Jill Jodrey at jajodrey at sfu.ca
Thanks,
Derek Lee
