For those of you who have taken the plunge and bought an iPod, I came
across this article on how to install Linux software that allows you
to plug in a regular mike and get up to 96KHz - DAT is 48KHz.  The
iMic plug-in mic that Griffen sells only gives you 8Khz.   I imagine
you would get all the quick and easy file-transfer as with music
files.

I'd love to know if this works. If anyone has an iPod and can get the
