Subject: [FL-LIST] Post-Doc Fellowships at the Library of Congress
> Hello All,
>
Last weekend I attended a grant-writing workshop sponsored by the NEH and
the NSF, and the participants were asked to spread the word about Kluge
fellowships at the Library of
Congress. Apparently they aren't getting as many strong applications as
they would like to see. These fellowships provide $4,000/month for up to 11
months for research at the Library of Congress. They are restricted to
people
who received their doctorate (or other terminal degree) in the humanities,
social sciences or in a professional field
(the website mentions architecture and law)within the past seven years.
One of the nice things about these fellowships is that they are *not*
restricted to U.S. citizens. In fact, the woman from NEH told us that they
would like to have people from other countries in each year's group. If you
think you might be interested, or if you have students who might
want to apply, you can find all the information you need by following this
