Crackdown on language schools to stop illegal immigrants

MINISTERS launched a crackdown on bogus colleges yesterday in an attempt to 
stop illegal immigrants coming to Britain to work while claiming to be 
students. 

All private colleges that recruit students from overseas will be required to 
register with the Home Office from 2009 and prove they are genuine educational 
establishments .
