Active Languages Day will combine sport and language

 

Anglia Ruskin University is staging a day of teaching and learning which will take teachers and, subsequently, pupils outside of the classroom environment and combine learning with sports activities.

 

The Active Languages Day on 7 July will encourage active learning and creativity in a sporting environment.  The day will be focused on 'doing' as well as 'knowing', helping teachers explore ways of collaborating and providing exciting cross-curricular activities for their pupils.

 

Schools from Cambridgeshire and beyond will be sending language and PE teachers to the event which is supported by Youth Sport Trust and bears a 2012 Inspire Mark.
