33rd Language Testing Research Colloquium - Half a Century of Language Testing
June 23-25, 2011 (preconference workshops June 21 & 22)
University of Michigan, English Language Institute
Deadline for receipt of proposals: December 3, 2010
All proposals must be submitted via the ILTA website <http://iltaonline.com/LTRC2011/> , which is specifically set up for online submissions. No email, fax, or regular mail submissions will be accepted.

Content of Proposals
The website for online submissions will request the following information:
* type of presentation (paper, symposium, poster, or work in progress)
* title of presentation (must not exceed 15 words)
* presenter information: name(s) of the author(s) in the order that they should appear in the program, institutional affiliation(s), and the location of the institution(s)
* the name of the author to whom all correspondence should be sent
* email address of the correspondent
* fax number of the correspondent (please be sure to include country code)
* office telephone number of the correspondent
* audio-visual equipment required
* abstract of presentation (must not exceed 300 words); a blind review process will be employed, therefore, any information that might identify author(s) must be omitted
Evaluation Criteria
Criteria used to evaluate papers, posters, and works in progress will be:
* relevance to the conference theme
* interest and importance to the field of language assessment
* quality of research design
* clarity of theoretical orientation
* overall organization
Criteria used to evaluate symposia will be:
* relevance to the conference theme
* interest and importance to the field of language assessment
* coherence and complementarity of the contributions
* evidence of careful planning for the implementation of the symposium, including sufficient time for discussion and audience participation
Preference will be given to proposals that are clearly related to the overall theme of LTRC 2011. Authors will be notified by March 1, 2011.
