Play highlights importance of mother tongue



On the eve of International Mother Language Day, People's Artist Forum staged a play at Student Centre of Panjab University, bringing out the indignity suffered by students using their respective mother tongue.



The play sought to show how students faced problems learning in a language other than their mother tongue and how it curtailed their space to learn and develop concepts.
