Director of the Institute for Teaching Learning and Inclusive Pedagogy

Among the key duties of this position are the following:


   -     Helps to shape the vision for the new Institute.
   -     Works with the Provost’s Office and an advisory committee of
   instructors and staff from across campus to develop the initial strategic
   plan for the Institute and hire the initial staff.
   -     Manages and directs all aspects of the Institute.
   -     Provides leadership and strategic vision for the Institute.
   -     Develops and implements programs and services to support
   instructors at all levels of their careers.
   -     Collaborates with other University offices and programs supporting
   teaching and learning and taking a leadership role in coordinating these
   efforts and in communicating about them to New Brunswick instructors.
   -     Provides infrastructure and support for research on innovation in
   teaching and learning.
   -     Manages the Institute’s operations, budget, and staff.


Minimum Education and Experience


   -     Master’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or
   experience.
   -     Three (3) years experience supporting teaching and learning at a
   post-secondary level.
   -     Experience in college-level teaching, presenting workshops, and/or
   providing instructional design support.
   -     Supervisory experience.
   -     Experience developing and implementing DEI initiatives.
