Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the 3rd International Symposium on Social Justice in ELT<https://www.socialjusticeinelt.com/Home/Symposium2025> to be held in Bahçeşehir University South Campus, İstanbul, Türkiye, from May 30-31, 2025.
At a time marked by global crises - whether political, economic, or environmental - language educators play a pivotal role in addressing inequality, empowering marginalized voices, and advocating for diversity, inclusion and social justice at large. Our 3rd International Social Justice in ELT symposium aims to provide a platform to explore how language education can respond to contemporary social challenges and help create more equitable learning environments in times of turmoil.
We invite teacher educators, pre- and in-service language teachers, and early career scholars, to contribute their insights on the intersections of language, social justice, and diversity. The symposium offers an opportunity to share equitable and inclusive practices, discuss innovative research, and engage in critical dialogues on fostering social justice through language education.

We welcome proposals that address (but are not limited to) the following topics:
1. Language Education and Social Justice:
