Dear all,
If you are a faculty member in the US or another country, please consider participating in my survey study, "Integrating AI in Higher Education: Faculty Insights on Syllabus Policies and Student Use."
Below is my recruitment message:
Dear Faculty:
I am writing to invite you to participate in the research study “Integrating AI in Higher Education: Faculty Insights on Syllabus Policies and Student Use” This study aims to gather insights into how AI is being integrated into higher education and to better understand faculty attitudes and practices regarding its use in teaching and learning environments.
As a participant, you will be asked to complete an online survey, which will take approximately 10-15 minutes of your time. The survey will include questions about whether AI-related statements are included in your course syllabi, your reasons for including or excluding such statements, and how AI is used in your teaching practices.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to take part in a 30-minute follow-up interview, which will explore your experiences and perceptions of AI in education in more detail.
Your participation is entirely voluntary, and all responses will be kept confidential. The results of this study will contribute to a better understanding of the role AI plays in higher education, helping to inform future professional development initiatives aimed at supporting faculty in the effective and responsible use of AI tools.
If you are interested in participating, please follow the link below to access the survey: https://brockport.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6KbyCeDPQxLhdiu
Should you have any questions about the study or your potential involvement, please feel free to contact me at maltalouli at brockport.edu<mailto:maltalouli at brockport.edu>.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to contribute to this valuable research. Your insights will be incredibly beneficial in shaping the future of AI integration in education. This research was reviewed and approved by State University of New York Brockport IRB.
