Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for our conference "Professionalizing the Teachers of Today and Tomorrow: Language Teacher Identities (LTI) and Beyond" which will take place at Paderborn University, Germany, on November 20–21, 2025.

This conference will bring together educators, researchers, and practitioners to explore the evolving identities of language teachers and the professionalization of teaching in diverse contexts.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage with thought-provoking keynote talks, interactive sessions, and valuable networking opportunities.

Confirmed keynote speakers:

Gary Barkhuizen (University of Auckland, New Zealand)
David Gerlach (University of Wuppertal, Germany)
Sílvia Melo-Pfeifer (University of Hamburg, Germany)

Please register here: https://indico.uni-paderborn.de/event/114/ (scroll down to the bottom of the page)

You may choose between two registration options:

  *
On-site participation (in Paderborn) – €35.00
  *
Online participation (via Zoom) – €15.00

Please select the appropriate option and follow the registration instructions.
For those attending in person, we are delighted to invite you to the conference dinner on November 20, 2025, featuring both meat and vegan buffet options (starter, main course, and dessert included). Drinks will be available for purchase separately. We look forward to enjoying a relaxed evening together after a full day of conference sessions.

We encourage early registration, as spaces may be limited. Please register by October 31, 2025, to allow us sufficient time to finalize arrangements.
