Dear colleagues,



As many of us begin a new academic year, I want to draw your attention to
the CFP for a special issue titled “Humanizing Practices in Language
Testing and Assessment” for the 2028 Special Issue of *Language Testing*.

The special issue editorial team is especially interested in articles that
expand the readership of the journal through scholarship that offers
creative reimaginings of theory, research, and practice in language testing
and assessment to foreground humanizing practices. Article types

include:
original manuscripts, systematic reviews, brief reports, book reviews, test
reviews, viewpoints, and letters to the editor.
