I¡¯m excited to share two upcoming online workshops for K¨C12 Chinese immersion teachers, hosted by the Center for Advanced Language Proficiency Education and Research (CALPER) at Penn State.

Translanguaging Pedagogies in Chinese Immersion Programs

This session introduces translanguaging as a pedagogical stance and explores how teachers can strategically leverage students¡¯ full linguistic repertoires to support content learning, biliteracy development, and equity-oriented instruction.
