I saw Hans-Juergen Sasse's message asking for news about the LLD. Those
who had been discussing the idea before the summer, beginning with David
Cheezem who proposed it, left off planning to regroup in the fall. 
Maybe we could start out by hearing from David himself whether he has
any news--further contacts, new ideas, whatever? David, if you're on
the air, would you give us a quick update?
