CALL FOR PROPOSALS
Extended Deadline: 31 July 2020 (Friday)

Dear colleagues,

We are writing to invite proposal submissions for the International Conference on Gender, Language and Education (ICGLE). ICGLE seeks to explore equality and diversity issues in language and education. The conference will cover issues on gender and language, education, literature, educational management and leadership, culture and education, multicultural education, sexual harassment, heterosexism, intersectionality in education, and other relevant areas.


We have invited three key figures in the field to be the conference keynote speakers. They are:

  *   Ms Zuriel Oduwole, American Education Advocate and Film Maker, The Youngest Person Profiled by Forbes
  *   Dr Jane Sunderland, Lancaster University, United Kingdom
  *   Professor Theresa Der-lan Yeh, National Taiwan University, Taiwan

Date: 2 - 4 December 2020

Venue: The Education University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong

Conference theme: Gender, Language and Education: Equality and Diversity Issues in Asia and Beyond

Types of submissions: Paper/Poster presentations, live-stream presentations and virtual presentations (pre-recorded). Please submit your proposals to EasyChair (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icgle2020) by 31 July 2020.
