*apologies for cross posting*

Hello all,

The abstract submission deadline is fast approaching for the *Lavender
Languages and Linguistics Conference 29*, held at Boise State University
in Boise, ID March 9-11, 2023. Abstracts must be submitted no later than
*11:59pm MST Friday, November 18, 2022*! The conference will be held
in-person with a virtual option available.

We seek abstracts on the role of language (broadly defined) in
understanding aspects of gender and sexuality. Additional details are
available on the website (https://tinyurl.com/lavlang29) and panel or
individual paper submissions should be made through Easy Chair
(https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=lavlang29). There is also a
graduate student work-in-progress session that has a separate submission
process. Information on this session is on the website, and submissions
and questions for this session only should be directed to Dr. Lucy Jones
at Lucy.Jones at nottingham.ac.uk

Acceptances will go out at the end of December, and registration and
hotel information will also be available on the website by the end of
December.

This conference is a welcoming space, and frequently has undergraduate,
graduate, faculty, and independent scholars present material. Please
share with your students and colleagues who may be interested in
presenting and/or attending the conference.

For any questions about the conference or the abstract submission
process, please contact Conference Host and Organizer Chris VanderStouwe
at cvanderstouwe at boisestate.edu

Thank you and I hope to see some of you in Boise in the spring!

Best,
