SV: [gothic-l] Sune Lindqvist

Hallo!
Sune Lindqvist was a very good arkeolog, but a terrible jugement over
history. "Eskilstunekistorna" is probler never been. To see only to
Eskilstuna and not to rest off the world is very wrong.
One friend off me is working on a c-uppsats in Eskilstuna about this
subject, help off me, we have distrojed everything in his work, in his
jugment of history. We look at the history and runors and arkologi. And I
think he wanted to creat a new Troja in Sweden. If he was a nazi he worlden
wanted the world to know thart this is something specill about Eskilstuna,
he is frome Eskilstuna.
He was good to find things and he was a very good arkeolog. But a good
arkeolgo is not the same as a good historian. But like I alway said, we
don´t know becose we was not there, and we should take everything thith a
big spoon of salt.

  Indeed, I just re-read the paper. And that was basically my question, if
his works
  are influenced by the times in which it was written to such an extent that
they should
  not be considered readable. It seems as if they are not though, although
the
  documentary in question said smth like there are frequent national
socialist
  sympathies detectable in the book.

  Well, judging from evidence presented, he was a nazi, but that was not
smth uncommon.
  The question about his political orientation is rather irrelevant if it
doesn't affect his works.
  The documentary had some interesting footage and interviews but apart from
that I think it was useless.
