Hi Troels<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Of course, I'm always aware that everyone can make mistakes,
not excepting Saxo, you, and me. But any hypothesis needs
some starting suppositions, which not always seem obvious.
The suppositions may appear wrong (most frequently)
or breaking through age-old errors (alas, more rarely).
Anyhow, a researcher has to try and develop them until
reaches deadlocks. A best way not to make mistakes is
not to make anything. Maybe I am on an erroneous way,
but someone has to pass this way through.
Once more accept my thanks for the help.
Vladimir

Hi Vladimir
If this is the identity you want to use, you have to be aware that
this was based on a comparison of figures in the sagas and Gesta
Danorum. I (and others) may have made a wrong comparison or Saxo may
have made a mistake when he spelled the name. As already mentioned I
did not look at this from a linguistic point of view.
