By the way, its truth, that slavic ending -mir vas probably derived from gothic pattern - also with its introduced etymological solution - but what about its another, paralel form: -mar (Slavomar, Jaromar) - any idea?

 Yes, certainly I forgot to add "in the corresponding phonetic form". I 
 thought Michal was meaning these endings as etymological entities 
 irrespective of how they appear in each particular language, e.g. Go. �
 reiks, OE �ric, ON �rekr, OHG -rih etc. Thanks for your comment. BTW, 
 I used to wonder why does Jordanes write Geberich not *Geberic (< Go. 
 *Gibareiks, "Balthane Baur sa Batista")?
