Awiliuda, Arthur Jones,
I had suspected that the month-names were season-names, with two,
three, or four months in each season. Alternatively, the month-names
could be month names, with lunar months, and occasionally fruma
jiuleis and anþar jiuleis, when thirteen months were needed.
However,
The fragment identifies the 3rd as Constantine's day (November 3rd
for Constantius' II death).
the 6th as Dorotheus' day (November 6th).
the 15th as St. Philip's day (May 1st).
the 19th as the day of the 40 old women of Beroe.
the 29th as St. Andrew's day (November 30th).
