Quick question on adjectives

.... just another observation. I suppose the Gothic form can still be gleaned in modern Germanic languages like German.
  
 Thus, ... 
  
 Masculine:
 triggws hairdeis = treuer Hirte (considering the Gothic "s" became "r" in German)
 sa triggwa hairdeis = der treue Hirte (with Gothic ending "-a/o" corresponding to German ending "-e")
  
 Feminine
 triggwa aithei = treue Mutter (with Gothic ending "-a/o" corresponding to German ending "-e")
 so triggwo aithei =  die treue Mutter  (with Gothic ending "-a/o" corresponding to German ending "-e")
 
For me as nativ German speakers such similarities/rules are important as they greatly facilitate the learning of Gothic.
