As to the use of 'swaswe' versus 'swe':

 swaswe = conjunction 'as'

 ni haurnjais faura thus, swaswe thai liutans taujand (Mk6,2)
 'do not trumpet before thee as the hypocrites do'

 the word may be shortened to 'swe':

 swe gamelith ist in Esaiin praufetau (Mk1,2)
 'as is written in the prophet E.'

 swaswe may also be used as a quasi-preposition 'like':

 ni sijai swaswe thai liutans (Mt6,5)
 'do not be like the hypocrites'

 again, swaswe may be shortened to swe here:

 frawaurpanai swe lamba (Mt9,36)

 swaswe may also be used as a conjunction = 'such that, so that'

 swe is also an adverb meaning 'thus, so, in this way'

 As to gameljan versus meljan, the former appears about twice as many times as the latter, although apparently with a different nuance.

 As to 'scripture,' the noun 'gameleins' clearly is used in the sense of 'holy texts' at John7,38 and 7,42.

 As to the dative case required for 'bi' = 'according to', see my earlier e-mail from today.
