Thanks Johann, yes koebler is indeed the best dictionary out there. Aiz was
in the German - Gothic dictionary.


I'm checking Köbler and i can't seem to find aiz as meaning anything other
than a coin. But it's not that big a deal i suppose. I do have one question
though.

I see that wairpan can take the accusative or dative. When i translated one
of the lines, i followed a bit more closely to the OHG construction,
because OHG has a small instrumental case. "Wileis mik þeinamma gaiza
wairpan" as the dative in Gothic also has an instrumental usage. We could
even place ana before mik, as suggested by the English-Gothic dictionary
wairpan, sv. III. +acc. or +dat. - "at" ana +acc;
