A National Need: Developing A Network for Arabic Teachers K 12.

This presentation will report on the development of an interactive network
of K-12 Arabic language teachers and administrators. The purpose of this
network is to facilitate the sharing of information about materials,
teaching methods, teacher training, and resources among these Arabic
language educators.

Creating A Less Commonly Taught Program & Materials From The Ground Up.

This presentation will focus on the process of developing a K-12 language
program in a less commonly taught language. Three presenters will describe
their experiences creating programs for students of Arabic and will provide
participants with examples of how they have adapted materials and developed
curricula to meet learners needs.
