Lac Courte Orielles, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) - The grant has been
awarded to Lac Courte Oreilles Community College, and the University of
Wisconsin, Superior.

It will enable both colleges to launch a collaborative program to prepare
more Native American teachers, some proficient in the Ojibwe language, for
the classroom, with hopes of eventually offering immersion–type courses on
the culture.
