You missed the context. I was speaking about lexical items.
Yes-- Spanish has dropped future subjunctive
and has reduced
	/sh, zh/ > /x, h/
	/s, z/ > /s, S/
	/dz, ts/ > /s, th/
and pretty much mutated
	/L/ > /j, zh, Y, sh/
BUT lexically, Spanish and Portuguese are more alike
	grammatically, some Spanish and Portuguese dialects are replacing
condicional with imperfect & imperfect subjunctive
