Cappadocian

Could anyone please comment on the Cappadocian language. It was still
spoken in Strabo's time and probably well into the Byzantine period
(according to Stephen Mitchell's Anatolia: land of men and gods). So far
as I know there are no extant inscriptions or texts.
Also, could anyone please tell me if there is any evidence that the
language was ever written.
I rather presume, for want of a better idea, that Cappadocian was some
sort of late Luwian. If not, what could it have been?
