Eleanor Maccoby book award 2009

THE ELEANOR MACCOBY BOOK AWARD IN DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY 

  

Nominations are invited for the 2009 Eleanor Maccoby book award given by APA Division 7 (Developmental).  The award is made to the author (not an editor) of a book in psychology that has had or promises to have a profound effect on the field of developmental psychology or any of its areas. (Co-authored books may be nominated.) Books published in 2007 and 2008 are eligible for the award this year. 

  

Nominations should be sent to the chair of the Book Award Committee, Katherine Nelson, knelson at gc.cuny.edu.  Nominations must include the author's name and address, the name of the book, publication date, publisher's name and address, and a brief description of the book's content and contribution to the field. Nominations must be received by February 1, 2009.

  

Self nominations are welcome.
