Tenure-track assistant professor of Spanish beginning fall 2001.
PhD in hand at time of appointment.
Evidence of research experience in any of the following:
  second language acquisition,
  applied linguistics,
  sociolinguistics,
  instructional technology.
Responsibilities include language courses at all levels and graduate
courses in area of research specialization; may also include
coordination of medium-size basic language program and/or development of
curriculum in Spanish for heritage learners, for service learning and
for the professions.

Consideration of applications begins immediately and will continue until
the position is filled.
