The Spanish section in the department of Modern Languages, Literatures, 
and Linguistics at The University of Oklahoma seeks applicants for two 
one-year lecturer positions in Spanish.
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Hispanic literature (open 
specialization); experience teaching upper division courses is preferred.
The position is a one-year contract to teach a 3-3  course load for the 
2006-2007 academic year. The contract provides  full-time salary and 
benefits.
The individuals who fill these  positions will teach Advanced Grammar 
and Composition,  Introduction to Readings in Spanish and possibly other 
upper-division undergraduate literature and/or civilization courses in 
Spanish.
Qualified candidates are encouraged to send the c.v., 2 letters of 
recommendation, and a photocopy of their latest student  evaluations to
