Well, I included Urdu in the discussion only for the reason that
it's also a relatively large/major language that uses a
modified-Perso-Arabic script and, like Persian, loves the rather cursive
looking fontface as base, as opposed to the standard printed stuff.

I believe the article/presentation was meant for non-specialists
who needed an introduction to the complexity of the pan-Arabic-script
situation. The two kafs, <kaf> [kh] and <swash kaf> [k] in Sindhi are
pretty straightforward, though sometimes hard for me to remember which is
which - swash-kaf is unaspirated, while the regular kaf is aspirated.
I've been asked by a few academes around to try and put something
together on the whole pan-Arabic-script situation... we'll see if
Qualifying Papers and other somesuch allow me to in the near future or not.
