Dear Piotr,

Thanks for your indication. Actually, I was in need of a open source, or free software that can be customised to certain language on one's choice and provide results similar to the ones from: http://ucrel.lancs.ac.uk/claws/trial.html (appropiate for English) or http://aflat.org/?q=node/10 (for Kiswahili). This can be either a standalone or web-based tool (in PHP).

You mean, many Bantu languages in a single box? That might be quite a
tool :-) Or are you looking for tools dedicated to individual languages?

It would also help if you could specify some basic requirements
(free/commercial, expected format of the input/output, etc.)

In general, the homepage of AFRILEX may prove useful as a starting point:

http://afrilex.africanlanguages.com/

Here are two other pages that you might want to browse:

http://www.columbia.edu/cu/lweb/indiv/africa/cuvl/langs.html
"African Language Resources on the Internet"

http://www.africanlanguages.org/

Good luck,

  Piotr
