and language; pidgins and creoles; language socialization in and  
outside of school; or child discourse. PhD must be in hand by August

571051, Georgetown University, Washington, DC 20057-1051. For full  
consideration, applications must be received by October 17.  
Applicants should also arrange for three letters of recommendation to

Campus visits are tentatively scheduled for late November/early
