BU Cracks Down On Obscene Language At Games (CBS4)

BOSTON

Boston University is cracking down on obscene language at sporting events.
The policy is specifically directed at the fans of the Terriers
nationally-ranked hockey team, the "Dog Pound." The university adopted the
no-swearing policy after numerous complaints about profane language during
games. Racist and sexist chants are also banned. Anyone who violates the
policy can be removed from the stadium or arena. Repeat offenders could
face a permanent ban. The policy will be printed on the back of tickets
for all sporting events. Season ticket holders will receive a letter
informing them of the new policy.
