The Georgetown Linguistics Society presents GLS 2007 a graduate student
conference on the theme ''Language and Globalization: Policy, Education,
and Media''

In addition to papers and posters presented by graduate students from
around the globe, we will hear plenary lectures from David Block, Bonnie
McElhinny, and Ron Scollon, and faculty panels are being coordinated by
Kendall King and Deborah Tannen.
