 {AILA Research Network on Language Policy} language planning conference
in Norway, November 2007

A conference entitled "The need or the desire to standardize?" will be
held at Agder University College, Kristiansand, Norway on 1–3 November
2007.  The conference is aimed at researchers who are interested in
language planning, persons affiliated with language planning institutions
(i.e. language councils), text producers in media and publishing houses,
teachers and others interested in language, language planning and
