L'éducation en français



Stepping through the doors of École l'Harmonie is stepping into another
language. Outside, on Waterloo's Bridgeport Road, everything is in English.

Inside the school, it's "bienvenue," not welcome. The posters and books are
in French. Even among themselves in class and in the schoolyard at recess,
the kids speak French a lot of the time.



École l'Harmonie isn't a private school or a French immersion school.

It's Waterloo Region's only public francophone school. There are also four
Catholic francophone schools.
