Language study on TV

KAMPUS Astro has introduced two locally-produced programmes that focus
on Bahasa Malaysia on Astro TVIQ (Channel 552), as part of its drive
to help improve children's language skills.

Astro's head of education Yasmin Megat said that the teaching of
Bahasa Malaysia has evolved over the years, adding that students are
required to learn about grammar, peribahasa (proverbs) and acquire an
expanded vocabulary in their early primary schooling.
