There are many universities around the world that offer Language Policy and Planning courses such as
Univeristy of California at Berkeley; UCLA, Roehampton University, London; Reading University, etc. etc. However, I think we need to create more Master and Ph.D. Programs in Language Policy and Planning from interdisciplinary perspective, especially in the United States. The University of Aberdeen and the University of Glasgow are good examples to follow.

If you can, you could try to do a doctoral degree in a country where there aren't programs as in the US, but where there are staff with an interest in supervising doctoral degrees in LPP  (this would be true in UK, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia and, I believe, many other Commonwealth countries).

I would have loved an  opportunity to continue my graduate studies in LPP.  I was the only students in our Doctoral program that showed any interest in LLP at SUNY.  There were no courses available to take, as such, I stopped and I now would continue in a heart beat if I find another university with LLP Doctoral program. Thanks for discussing this topic.
