Early Language Learning Policy Handbook

Examples of good practice

The following are examples of good practice in Early Language Learning
in pre-primary settings provided by the members of the Thematic Group
on Early Language Learning established under the Open Method of
Coordination.

All the examples have been subject to monitoring and evaluation
processes at Member State level in accordance with the principles of
evidence-based policy and have been discussed with the Group. The
references to the monitoring, evaluation work and scientific evidence
are contained in the individual summary sheets. These examples and
their scientific evidence provided one of the bases for the findings
of the Handbook.
